PhysTherm

PhysTherm is an analog temperature sensor with a wide range of -260 °C to 750 °C, K-type thermocouple support, cold junction compensation, and real-time logging with PhysLogger, ideal for diverse applications from cryogenics to the Mpemba effect.

PhysTherm measures temperatures in a range as wide as -260 °C to 750 °C with a notable accuracy. It comes with a screw terminal connector that ensures support for a variety of K-type thermocouples. An in-built cold junction compensation scheme adds to the utility, making temperature measurement fast, reliable and as easy as the word “go”!

This analog PhysInstrument enables accurate temperature logging and real-time plotting, and is compatible with K-type thermocouples. It features automatic cold junction compensation, connects with PhysLogger, and comes with a Lego casing and bracket. The device is also hot pluggable for added convenience.

This device is ideal for temperature measurements in science labs or outdoor environments, monitoring the temperature of perishable items, profiling the human body’s temperature, warming up cryogenics, modeling thermistor behavior, and exploring phenomena like the Mpemba effect.
