This isn’t just a lab setup it’s a physics playground. Our integrated experimental system combines multiple fundamental concepts into one compact, interactive platform. From electromagnetism and hydraulics to pressure changes, mass variation, and nonlinear pendulum motion, you can explore the beauty of physics in real time.
At the heart of the setup is a rotating governor driven by a servo motor. Two magnets mounted on its arms bring electromagnetism to life. As the governor spins, a solenoid picks up the induced EMF while the PhysHall sensor tracks the changing magnetic field. Right alongside, the PhysDisp sensor measures how the governor’s motion translates into up-and-down displacement, so you can literally see rotation turn into linear motion, all streaming live to your PC.
The experience doesn’t stop there. A servo-controlled syringe acts like a miniature hydraulic piston, pushing and pulling fluid through a connected tube. As it moves, PhysBar records the pressure changes, while a second syringe drives a submerged cylinder that makes the water level rise and fall. This, in turn, changes the weight measured by PhysLoad letting you watch hydraulics, fluid pressure, and weight variation unfold in a beautifully connected way.
To top it off, the setup includes a nonlinear pendulum experiment that gets truly exciting. A pendulum with a magnetic tip interacts with another magnet beneath it, leading to chaotic, unpredictable motion captured beautifully by PhysCompass and displayed live. With every sensor connected through PhysLogger, and all data visualized on PhysLogger Desktop, you get a hands-on, modern way to experience physics not just as theory, but as something dynamic, connected, and alive.
